Ah yes, exam week, Its upon us and Teresa and I have been spending the majority of out time studying at the state Library, and in a bout of procrastination we decided to shoot my outfit of the day.
I love this little leather dress by Astore, and have gotten so many compliments, its incredibly warm and confortable, perfect for day and night- although its quite short, the high neck allows for day time wear.
You may have noticed I'm still refusing to wear tights, but as winter draws ever colder and closer, I think I'm going to have to. I truly hate tights, they're itchy and scratchy and rip so easily, and every time i pull them on I get flash backs from the hideous fluffy navy blue ones, Teresa and I were forced to wear all the way through high school-yick.
I paired it with the miniature Jolie and Deen love skull in rose gold and my new Silk Celine scarf- silk scarves are becoming a sort of obsession of mine, my father keeps telling me I look like an airhostess, and im taking that as a compliment. Lastly I finished off the outfit with these lovely Steve Madden Darrt Heels in pewter, which get worn almost every day!

Yes, Ok, il admit it myself; my entire outfit needs an iron, and I need to put a little more effort in. I planned on re-shooting this outfit post iron, but to be honest, its getting a little to cool in windy old Melbourne and my shorts have been packed back up for the season, haha I joke, they're totally on my bedroom floor, with everything else I own. But it really is too cold.
Throughout summer these American Apparel high waisted shorts were worn with everything I owned, they're perfectly figure hugging without being tweeny-short, and being black matched everything. I matched the shorts with a long sleeve friend of mine top, so i'd be able to role up or down the arms for comfort in Melbourne's unpredictable weather. The fuchsia top added a little pop of colour to an otherwise dark outfit. I then layered the black Cameo harness to create figure, and paired my classic Windsor Smith boots and Shag vintage sunnies for an easy day to day wearable outfit.

The bomber jacket is definitely this season's wardrobe staple. You can't walk three steps without seeing it on a mannequin, model or fashionista! However, I've always always though that they looked really butch on me so I've never bought one. Enter this Jolie & Deen bomber jacket. I've been obsessed with digital prints for a while now so this bomber ticks all the boxes! The on trend, feminine print makes the bomber a little more girly and therefore 'me' and wearing it off the shoulder also gives the somewhat boyish cut an elegant twist. As I loved the print so much, I decided to squeeze another trend in the already jammed packed looked by adding a matching shirt. The double print look can give some a headache but I love how it brings more attention to the jacket. I took inspiration from this and also doubled up on some gorgeous natural stone rings that matched the colours of the print, also from Jolie & Deen. The look was topped off with some amazing Steve Madden heels in pewter. I was so close to choosing the black version of the 'Darrt' heel but I decided that I needed to change things up and stop being so boring! The metallic heels and rings match perfectly so I'm not regretting my choice at all and this shoot is definitely one of my favourites! If only I could get away with wearing black leather shorts in winter though....
